Make it last!

Rachael Archer - Wednesday, December 09, 2015

We're all busy - especially at this time of year!

Whether it's trying to wrap up your work so that you can relax on holidays, or attending Christmas parties on weekends, December tends to be a bit of a manic month for many of us.

It can also be a tricky time of year for keeping your health habits in check.

But with a bit of prior planning, it is possible to stay on track over the festive season.

Our MP Tip of the Week:

Always Cook For More Than 1!

There's nothing worse than getting home after a long day at work and realising that you have nothing in the fridge... Or that you do have items in your fridge, but you need to spend time cooking them.

That's why we recommend always cooking for more than 1 meal.

Make a huge batch of a meal, put it in some plastic containers and store it in your fridge or freezer for meals over the coming days.

Salads usually last in the fridge a few days, and meat does, too.

Here's an example of what we cooked this week:

5 Minute Beef Stir-Fry

Bok-Choy Chicken

Omelettes

This will last us at least a few days, and it's something that we do each and every week. It saves so much time when you chop, cook and clean all in one hit.

What meals can you make in bulk this week?
