It's inevitable....

Rachael Archer - Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Today we're going to chat about one of those inevitable facts of life.

It seems to be the same for the majority of us, and it's a major factor in sabotaging our weight loss success.

"What is it?" I hear you ask.

It's simple - if it's there, you'll eat it!

I don't care how committed you are to your goals.

If you put your most favourite food in the fridge, I can guarantee at one point or another, you will eat it.

Just imagine having ice cream, chocolate, lollies, chips, donuts in the pantry and fridge and trying to stick to your 12 week challenge?

Incredibly challenging!

So how do you avoid it?

Simple.

Don't have it in the house.

Luke and I made a deal a long time ago that we would only eat treats when we are out at a café or restaurant.

It helps us to enjoy the experience while we are out AND it ensures that we don't have stacks of temptation at home. Because, trust me, put a block of Black Forest Chocolate in our pantry and it ain't gonna last long!

A huge part of achieving your goals is surrounding yourself with the tools to help you get there.

Don't set yourself up to fail from the outset by having easy access to foods you know you should only have sometimes.

Stock your fridge and pantry with nutritious foods that you can fuel yourself with everyday and that are going to see you love the body you are in!
