Exercise of the Week: Deadlifts with Bands

As we've shown you previously, the deadlift is one of the best lifts you can do for your overall strength.

In today's video, we've put a bit of a spin on it; adding resistance in the form of power bands.

For anyone who has done deadlifts before, we know that getting the bar off the ground (the bottom half of the lift) is the most challenging part of the exercise. By using power bands, they add resistance to the top half of the lift, and therefore make the exercise that little bit more challenging.

Remember, deadlifts are an advanced exercise and should only be completed with proper form and technique. If you are unsure, check with a trainer!
